Description:
The annual function of St. Mary’s Nursery School was held on 28th November, 2015 amidst great mirth, verve and merriment.
Mr. Rajan Shukla, IAS, Commissioner of Allahabad was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Sr. Roshni C.J., Provincial Superior of Allahabad Province was the Guest of Honour. They were received warmly with bouquets of flowers. Many eminent guests, fathers, sisters and parents were present to grace the occasion.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp and invoking God’s blessings by Fr. K. K. Antony. Little angels put forth their tiny feet to march for a peaceful and sustainable future. Their effort to march immaculately was indeed a treat to the eyes.
The most fascinating part, embellishing the event, were the splendid field displays.
The tiny tots of classes LKG A & B exhibited exuberant spirit with their attuned moves in their item ‘Rhythmic Champs’.
The zealous parents, gathered in large numbers, constantly applauded the participants.
The students exhibited tremendous amount of energy and enthusiasm in a variety of races. After completion of each of these races, the proud winners were given prizes. The little sports stars with shining bright faces flaunted their prizes and gained thunderous applause from one and all.
Many a times situations are not right and everything does not seem to be bright. But there is one word- HOPE that keeps us going. Dressed as candles of faith, peace, love and hope, the little St.Marian’s of classes UKG A and B, presented a skit followed by a dance on the melodious song, ‘Rishton ka Manjha’. They enthralled the audience with their message.
The scintillating performance by the twinkling stars of UKG C and D charmed everyone. The bright hues of the children’s costumes and their sparkling performances enlivened the atmosphere like a million stars in the sky.
Hakuna Matata – Don’t worry be happy! was the beautiful message conveyed by the little kids of UKG E and F.
The event was concluded by final assembling of the students followed by the Chief Guest’s address.
The Chief Guest in his address lauded and appreciated the performances of the kids. He praised the teachers for their sincerity and the students for their efforts.
In the end, the tiny St. Marian’s offered a sapling to our honourable Chief Guest.
Prizes were given for Best PT, Best Discipline and Best Effort.
The function culminated with the National Anthem.
