The Annual Function of St. Mary’s Nursery School was held on 26th November, 2014 with great pomp and show.
Most Rev. Dr. Raphy Manjaly, Bishop of Allahabad was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Sr. Sumita CJ, Provincial Superior of Allahabad province was the Guest of Honour. They were received warmly with bouquets of flowers. Many notable guests, fathers, sisters and parents were present to grace the occasion.
The programme commenced with the lighting of lamp and invoking God’s blessing by Dr. Raphy Manjaly. Little angels put forth their tiny feet to march and salute smartly. Their effort to march impeccably was indeed a visual treat.
Parents are the quintessential part of a person’s life, the small children acknowledged their love for the parents in a dance performance by LKG A and B.
Dr. Raphy Manjaly enlightened the tiny tots and the audience by his inspiring words, his words of virtue enriched one and all.
Races like Chocolate Hunt, Caterpillar, birth of a butterfly, balance of life and it’s a party time were enthralling with some message.
LKG C and D displayed beautifully the theme blooming buds, the buds of SMC ready to bloom under the aegis of sisters and teachers.
The tiny SMCians as the promising future kept the spirits high with the drill Chakde India by LKG E and F. Prizes were given away for the effort and caliber of the little ones which boosted the spirits of all.
Event like Dancing fans’ captivated the audience by the mesmerizing performance. Colourful, vibrant show stole many hearts.
Little SMCians brought the world at large in their school campus with the theme East meets West.
The values taught in the school were well showcased as they epitomized love, discipline, hard work and competence. The four C’s were held high by UKG A and B which spell-bound the audience.
The twinkling stars of UKG C and D shouldered the responsibility of transforming the vices of the world with the theme “Healing the world”.
SMC proudly announced the launch of its website in the 20th year of its existence inaugurated by Sr. Sumita CJ the Provincial Superior by cutting the ribbon.
Prizes were given for Best P.T. which was won by LKG-E & F and UKG-C & D, Best Discipline won by LKG-A & B and UKG- A & B, Best Effort won by LKG-C & D and UKG-E & F.
The event was concluded by final Assembling of the students followed by the address by the Guest of Honour, Sr. Sumita CJ, rewarded all the participants to boost the morale of the little ones.
The words of appreciation and encouragement for the commendable show to the students and teachers were heart-touching. She applauded the effort of the little ones and the sincerity of the teachers.
The grand event came to an end with the vote of Thanks and National Anthem.
