It was a red letter day in the history of India, when the country gained freedom on 15th August 1947.
This day is celebrated with great zeal every year.
SMC-21 celebrates the nation’s 72nd Independence Day and remembered the sacrifices of the freedom fighters with gratitude.
The celebrations began in the school premises with the hoisting of the national flag by our honourable Provincial Superior Reverend Sister Roshni CJ followed by the National Anthem, prayers for the nation, leaders and citizens.
The message of our Provincial Superior Sister Roshni on the day was that we should serve the nation to the best of our ability and also keep in mind the welfare of those who are lesser than us.
Sare jahan se achcha was sung evoking the feelings of patriotism among all.
