Description:
Into the stormy sea of life in 1585 at Yorkshire was born the foundress of the Congregation of Jesus. That incomparable woman Mary Ward whose heart best echoed the glory of God in all the seasons. Yes, SMC family recalled the incomparable woman. A very special week for the SMC family, as we were celebrating the birth anniversary of our foundress Venerable Mary Ward. To commemorate her birthday students of class 2 B, C and D staged the initial life of Mary Ward. Her life which was an ordeal gives us lot of inspiration. She dedicated her life to the society. Through three scenes the student depicted how she had great affinity for the God and her first word was 'JESUS'. When fire broke out at Mulwith she chanted prayers. Her grandmother's hands in prayer taught her that a "person without a prayer is like a tree without roots." The modern education system is indebted to Mary Ward. Her perseverance to educate girls and backward classes is an inspiration to many.
