School Annual Day is a chance to reflect on our values, ethics and progress. St. Mary’s Nursery School celebrated their Annual Day on 2nd December High lighting theme, Pukar -2 with the Core theme- Celebrating Diversity on a Synodal Journey. The presence of our Bishop Louis Mascarenhas as a Chief Guest and Guest of Honour Rev. Sr. Shweta CJ our Provincial Superior added gusto to the programme.
The curtains of the stage opened with the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, celebrating diversity on a synodal journey. The show commenced with the lighting of the lamp and invoking the blessings of the Almighty followed by a prayer dance and a super energetic welcome dance. The kids beautifully portrayed the entire life journey of Mother Mary Ward, The foundress of the Congregation of Jesus. The super kids of Darshana School surprised everyone with their wonderful performance. Different skits depicting different life values such as respecting grandparents, adopting healthy eating habits, influence of social media in today’s world captivated the attention of the audience.
Little ones also gave a special tribute to teachers and parents through their dance. The dances presenting cultural diversity enthralled the audience with their mesmerizing performance. The concept of unity in Diversity was displayed magnificently by the kids. The little ones expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards everyone who contributed in making the show a grand success.
The zeal, enthusiasm and hard work of the kids was appreciated by the chief guest. The program ended with the National Anthem. The parents left the school with an overwhelming happiness and smiles on their faces. The entire show was a grand success and appreciated by one and all.
